Hey everyone, I’m Chloe! If you’re like most college students, the word “finances” probably makes you yawn, or maybe even sends a shiver of stress down your spine. Trust me, I get it. Balancing classes, exams, social life, and trying to figure out how to pay for it all? It can feel like a juggling act with flaming torches!
That’s why I started this blog – “Student Cents.” I’m a student myself, currently navigating the exciting (and sometimes terrifying!) world of college life here in sunny California. I’m majoring in Major Marketing – something I’m truly passionate about. But let’s be real, passion doesn’t pay the bills, textbooks, or that much-needed coffee during finals week.
Like many of you, I’ve learned a lot about managing my money the hard way – through trial and error (and maybe a few ramen-heavy months!). I’m definitely not a financial expert, and I don’t have all the answers. But I have picked up some реально savvy tips and tricks along the way that have helped me stay afloat (and even save a little extra for fun things, like that concert I really wanted to go to, or a weekend trip with friends).

Outside of classes and blogging, you can usually find my Hobbies, hiking local trails, binge-watching documentaries on Netflix, volunteering at the campus animal shelter, cheering on my college basketball team. I’m a firm believer that being financially responsible doesn’t mean sacrificing all the fun in college – it’s about making smart choices so you can enjoy your student life and set yourself up for a brighter financial future.
